Tolulope (Victoria) Akerele

Doctoral Student

Tolulope is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Geography at Memorial University Newfoundland. With a background in Urban and Regional Planning and Transport Planning, she is determined to contribute research efforts into Canadian Planning. She was on the dean’s list throughout her honours degree and is a recipient of several awards including the prestigious Commonwealth Scholarship. Her doctoral research will focus on Transit and Participatory Planning for Immigrants and Refugees in Canada’s four Atlantic Provinces
