Dr. Roza Tchoukaleyska
Roza Tchoukaleyska is Assistant Professor at the School of Science and Environment, Grenfell Campus, Memorial University. Her research examines community planning and public space politics, with an interest in rural-urban links and cultural economies.
Her current research examines urban agrarian protests and transnational economic agreements, and the process through which rural actors occupy, use, and appropriate city spaces in France and Canada. Through previous work, she has examined urban renewal programs in high-rise neighbourhoods, retail gentrification and public redevelopment, and the cultural landscapes of cities.
