Kimberly comes to graduate studies with a bachelor degree in Commerce, previous experience as a "small town" mayor and councillor, and long-time involvement in community/regional development and entrepreneurship. Her research interests are in urban-rural inter-dependencies, particularly around cultural heritage and preservation of authenticity, as well as the preservation or creation of cultural and rural characteristics within the context of urban development.

Supervised by Dr. Yolande Pottie-Sherman and Dr. Charles Mather.
